Women University Mardan Students Secure 1st Position in International Poster Competition
Women University Mardan is proud to announce that Ms. Jaweria Aman and Ms. Laila Haleem, B.S. Biotechnology research students under the supervision of Dr. Neelam Zeb (Assistant Professor, Biotechnology), have secured 1st position in a poster competition at the prestigious International Conference on Food and Applied Sciences (ICFAS-24). The event took place from 19th to 21st August at Nathiagali.
Their award-winning poster, titled “Enzymatic Solutions for Environmental Challenges: Microbes Leading the Way,” showcased innovative research on utilizing microbial enzymes to address pressing environmental issues. The project’s creative approach and thorough scientific analysis stood out among numerous participants from across the region, earning them top honors at the conference.
This achievement not only highlights the talent and dedication of our students but also underscores the commitment of Women University Mardan to fostering research excellence in biotechnology and environmental science.
