Jashn-e-Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) was celebrated at Women University Mardan on Friday, 20th September 2024, with an overwhelming display of religious fervor and zeal. The event aimed to commemorate the 12th of Rabiul Awal, a day of profound significance for Muslims globally, marking the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The celebration stood as a testament to the deep faith and dedication of the university’s community in honoring the life and teachings of the Prophet. The event featured a variety of religious activities, including heartfelt Naat recitations, Durood (sending blessings upon the Prophet), and collective Dua sessions. These acts of devotion allowed participants to express their profound love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and seek blessings for themselves and the broader Muslim Ummah.
The occasion also underscored the need for renewed commitment to the teachings of Rehmatul-lil-Alameen, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), serving as a reminder of His enduring guidance.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmad, graced the event as the chief guest. In her address, she emphasized the university’s steadfast commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment that nurtures both spiritual and academic growth.
The event’s success was made possible by the full support of Campus Coordinator Muhammad Kamran Khan, whose assistance was pivotal in its smooth execution. Additionally, the meticulous planning and organization were credited to the Islamic Society, led by Dr. Rashida Parveen, Head of the Islamic Studies Department.
